“Hormonal imbalance wasn't just about nutrition or trauma. It was about a deeper, collective wound: The pressure to embody every aspect of womanhood by 35.”

Marcela Llerena

In today’s world, women are told they can have it all — the thriving career, the passionate relationship, the fulfilling motherhood, the glowing health, and the spiritual depth.

And yet, behind this glossy ideal, many women are silently struggling… fragmented, exhausted, and battling health issues they don’t fully understand.

I Was That Woman

Hello love,

There was a time in my life when I didn’t even want to be a mother — and yet, I still found myself dealing with hormonal chaos: fatigue, mood shifts, irregular cycles, anxiety, and a deep sense of disconnection from my body.

I couldn’t understand it at first. I wasn’t rushing into motherhood. I was doing “everything right.” I was spiritual, plant-based, self-aware.
But I was also… hustling.

Juggling the coach, the marketer, the housekeeper, the healer, the businesswoman, the visionary — while also trying to sunbathe, meditate, eat clean, and look radiant.

And underneath all of that… was a silent panic.

“Am I behind? Shouldn’t I already be financially free and in love and a mother by now?”

That’s when I realized: Hormonal imbalance wasn’t just about nutrition or trauma. It was about a deeper, collective wound: The pressure to embody every aspect of womanhood by 35.

The Age 35 Trap — A Modern Feminine Trauma

Let’s name it. Most women unconsciously carry a belief that if they don’t “have it all” — career, marriage, wealth, health, motherhood — by 35, they are somehow too late.

This idea is so normalized we don’t even question it. But it’s a lie. A lie rooted in:

· Patriarchal science that fears menopause

· Financial systems that reward masculine structure

· And a society that glorifies speed over soul

This lie causes women to:

· Rush decisions that aren’t aligned

· Burn out trying to perform multiple roles

· Compare their timelines to others

· Over-identify with achievement

· Disconnect from feminine rhythm

And disconnection from rhythm is what disrupts hormones.

Financial Literacy Is Feminine Protection

Let’s talk about money.

Most women were never taught to build wealth early.
They weren’t given tools, confidence, or space to learn about investing, passive income, or energetic stewardship.

So when they hit their 30s — and are told to have a child and run a business and find love — they feel trapped.

Without financial literacy, a woman feels unsafe.
When she feels unsafe, she can’t soften.
When she can’t soften, she stays in performance mode.
And that performance mode? That’s what burns her hormones.

It’s not about doing less. It’s about feeling more supported — structurally, emotionally, spiritually.

The Feminine Can Be It All — Just Not All at Once

The wound isn’t in the desire to have it all. The wound is in believing we must do it all simultaneously — gracefully, effortlessly, and perfectly — or we’ve failed.

But life isn’t linear. The feminine path is spiral, seasonal, intuitive.

Just like men, we can have multiple chapters:

· A season to build wealth

· A season to deepen love

· A season to mother

· A season to rest

But unlike men, we’ve been conditioned to think it must all happen by 35 — or the door closes. That pressure? That’s the real imbalance.

My Truth: I Don’t Believe in Time Constraints

I’m 45 now.
I’ve never believed in the 35 deadline.
I don’t believe in menopause as the “end.”
I believe motherhood is a soul contract, not a biological deadline.
I believe I’ve mothered in other lifetimes — and I will again.
I know that if I’m meant to mother in this life, the right soul will find its way — even if through adoption.

And because I hold that belief, I don’t rush. I don’t hustle. I listen.

But most women don’t have this spiritual anchor.
They believe the deadline.
They carry the panic.
And their bodies collapse under it.

The Result: Hormonal Chaos

When a woman tries to meet artificial timelines, she experiences:

· Cortisol dysregulation

· Adrenal fatigue

· Cycle irregularities

· Estrogen dominance

· PMS, PCOS, thyroid issues

· Anxiety masked as productivity

· Burnout disguised as ambition

It’s not just biology. It’s emotional. It’s spiritual. Her body is saying:

You are not living in rhythm.
You are obeying timelines that are not yours.
You are trying to prove your worth before you’ve felt your truth.

The Way Forward

We need a new model of feminine success:

Build wealth as energetic protection, not ego.
Stop glorifying multitasking as a badge of honor.
Redefine timelines based on soul, not science.
Prioritize structure that supports flow, not pressure.
Replace panic with presence.
Remember that having it all doesn’t mean all at once.

This is what I now teach:

Hormonal healing isn’t about fixing symptoms.
It’s about coming back into alignment with your natural rhythm — and finally letting go of society’s timeline for your life.

Your womb doesn’t run on deadlines.
Your soul doesn’t age by numbers.
You don’t need to rush to be whole.

You are not broken. You are just ready to come back home to your feminine truth.
